Friends of Sable Island Society is actively planning the second conference on the Science and History of Sable Island.
Call for Abstracts:
The Call for Abstracts is currently open. Abstracts for talks of about 20 minutes, or for posters, should be up to 250 words in length and should address issues related to Sable Island, Sable Island Bank, and Sable Gully considered over a broad spectrum of public interest and concern. Titles of proposed papers, authors, abstracts, and contact information should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org (please state “Abstract” in the subject line) Abstracts should be received by Friday, March 31, 2017.

Call for Artists:
Space will be available to artists who would like to showcase their work related to Sable Island. Please e-mail email@example.com with a description of how you would provide a virtual experience of the island for conference attendees.

If you would like to sponsor the conference or help with fund-raising, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Call for Volunteers:
We’re looking for volunteers to help with the planning activities leading up the conference, and for the days of the conference. Volunteers will receive a complimentary pass to the conference.
