As part of the consultation process to create Sable Island National Park Reserve’s first management plan, a State of the Park Report is in preparation that will summarise, among other things, our current knowledge of the ecological indicators and measures that comprise the Ecological Integrity Monitoring Program. I will provide some background on ecological integrity monitoring at Parks Canada, an overview of the current monitoring program for Sable Island National Park Reserve, and provide an update on the development of Sable Island’s first State of the Park Report.
