In July 2019, I travelled to Sable Island after winning the 2019 Friends of Sable Island Scholarship. Since my big trip, I was interviewed by a local radio station, created a video that has since been posted on Youtube, and have talked constantly about everything Sable Island has to offer with everyone I meet! In my presentation, I will talk about my experience on Sable Island, from flying in a 7-seat plane, to hiking to historic sites with Parks Canada staff, and shadowing University of Saskatchewan researchers to study the wild horses!
